I’m really impressed with the Mixed Reality mode. Being able to see my surroundings clearly enough to read text on my phone and computer screens without constantly taking the headset off is extremely convenient. I also wear glasses, so I really appreciate that the headset accommodates them comfortably. I purchased mine used and was very happy with the condition it arrived in. It was clean, well taken care of, and everything worked exactly as it should. Shipping was also much faster than I expected, which made the whole purchase even better. Overall, I’m very happy with it and feel like I got a great value buying used.

I’ve been really impressed with the Meta Quest so far. I was completely new to VR when I bought it, and it ended up being much more fun and immersive than I expected. Setup was simple, and I really like being able to use it wirelessly without feeling tied down by cables. The picture quality is great, the tracking feels very responsive, and the controllers are easy to get used to. I originally bought it mainly for meditation and relaxation apps, but I quickly ended up downloading a bunch of games too. There’s a surprisingly good variety of experiences. Some games are relaxing and visually beautiful, while others, especially the fitness and boxing-style games, can actually give you a pretty good workout. I still use the meditation apps quite a bit, but I definitely didn’t expect to enjoy the gaming side as much as I do. My only recommendation would be to get a model with plenty of storage if you plan on downloading a lot of games and apps, because it can fill up faster than you think. Overall, it’s been a great introduction to VR and something I’ve gotten a lot more use out of than I originally expected.

The Meta Quest 3 has been a great purchase and probably one of the best options if you want to get into VR without spending a ridiculous amount of money. The picture is noticeably sharp and clear, and the color passthrough makes the mixed-reality features much more useful than I expected. Everything runs smoothly, and I really like that you can use it completely on its own without needing to connect it to a gaming PC. Comfort is also a big improvement for me. I can wear it for longer sessions without it becoming too uncomfortable, and being wireless makes a huge difference when you’re moving around in games. The 512GB model also gives you plenty of room for apps and games, which is nice because it doesn’t take long to start building up a pretty big library. One of my favorite things about the Quest 3 is simply how much there is to do with it. There are big adventure games, shooters, fitness apps, multiplayer games, relaxing experiences, and plenty of older Quest titles that still work with it. I’ve enjoyed everything from more involved games like Batman: Arkham Shadow and Asgard’s Wrath 2 to simpler games like Beat Saber and Walkabout Mini Golf. You can also connect it to a PC for even more VR games if you want, but I like that you don’t have to. Overall, the Quest 3 gives you a really good mix of performance, convenience, and content for the money. I’ve gotten a lot more use out of it than I originally expected and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a solid all-around VR headset.
