I bought the SoundLink Flex 2nd Gen mainly for backyard dinners, and it has been a really solid purchase. The item arrived in small scuffs, which was better than I expected for a used/open-box style item. My favorite part is that the rubber body feels tough. Setup was straightforward and I did not have to fight with the portable size the way I have with cheaper brands. I would buy it again.

I am giving the SoundLink Flex 2nd Gen 5 stars because it fits the way I actually use audio gear day to day. I do not need it to be perfect in a laboratory sense. I need it to turn on, connect, sound good, and not annoy me. This one does all of that. I use it mostly for garage projects, and that is where it has been the most useful. The condition was good condition for the lower price. That mattered to me because I have ordered used electronics before that looked much rougher than the pictures. Here, it sounds bigger than it looks. I also noticed that the size is easy to toss in a bag. There is a small downside because the strap feels basic, but I stopped caring after the first day. For the lower price, I think it is a good value. I would recommend it.
