I picked up this PS5 Slim Disc because I wanted something affordable but still dependable for everyday use. What I wanted was a clean, working system that matched the description and did not feel like a gamble. When it arrived, the first thing I checked was the outside condition. Mine had almost new condition, but the overall presentation was still reasonable. The packaging was not fancy, but it protected the main unit well enough during shipping. I always look at the ports first because older electronics can look fine from the front and still have issues in the back. The power connection felt snug, and the HDMI connection did not wiggle. The setup was not hard, but I did have to wait through updates before I could actually play. Once everything was ready, I tested it with a game I already knew well so I could tell if anything felt off. I tested both a disc game and a downloaded game because I wanted to make sure both sides of the system worked. The disc read correctly, and the downloaded game launched without any strange errors. The system DualSense features are fun, which was one of the main reasons I chose this model. I also noticed that it smaller body than the launch PS5. Used electronics can vary a lot from one seller to the next. This is the kind of purchase where realistic expectations matter more than anything.
