I picked up this PS5 Slim Disc because I wanted something affordable but still dependable for everyday use. What I wanted was a clean, working system that matched the description and did not feel like a gamble. When it arrived, the first thing I checked was the outside condition. Mine had almost new condition, but the overall presentation was still reasonable. The packaging was not fancy, but it protected the main unit well enough during shipping. I always look at the ports first because older electronics can look fine from the front and still have issues in the back. The power connection felt snug, and the HDMI connection did not wiggle. The setup was not hard, but I did have to wait through updates before I could actually play. Once everything was ready, I tested it with a game I already knew well so I could tell if anything felt off. I tested both a disc game and a downloaded game because I wanted to make sure both sides of the system worked. The disc read correctly, and the downloaded game launched without any strange errors. The system DualSense features are fun, which was one of the main reasons I chose this model. I also noticed that it smaller body than the launch PS5. For my use case, which is mostly family gaming, that was enough to make me feel good about the purchase. There are a couple of small drawbacks, and I do not want to pretend it is perfect. The most noticeable one is that the panels scratch if handled roughly. Another small thing is that disc drive sound is noticeable, though it may not bother everyone. I appreciated the lower price because buying every device new gets expensive fast. At the same time, the lower price only matters if the item is accurately described. In this case, I felt the description was close enough to be fair. The controller or main controls worked without drifting or sticking in my testing. The menus were responsive enough for the age and type of product. I would still tell buyers to check storage, included cables, return policy, and photos before ordering. Used electronics can vary a lot from one seller to the next. This is the kind of purchase where realistic expectations matter more than anything. I would recommend it to someone who wants a practical PS5 Slim Disc and understands it may have small signs of use.
