I wanted to leave a detailed review because Steam Deck OLED 1 TB is the kind of purchase people overthink, especially when it is not brand new. The listing looked good and the price finally made sense. The unit arrived and the condition was clean overall. There were some small signs of normal use. The first thing I checked was whether the OLED screen is the highlight. That part was fine. I also noticed that the 90Hz screen makes smaller games feel great. For daily use, that mattered more to me than a flawless outer shell. Setup was easy enough without watching a video. I did have to deal with one tradeoff: some launchers are still annoying. That was not a dealbreaker, but it is worth mentioning. Another small thing is that battery varies wildly by game. I cleaned it, updated it, and tested the main functions before deciding to keep it. After that, it felt much more like a good deal than a gamble. It wasn't exactly cheap, but it was still a good value compared with retail. I would not call it perfect. I would call it practical. The performance has been consistent so far. Nothing felt fake or patched together. I appreciate that the listing did not oversell it too much. Someone expecting unopened retail condition might be more picky than me. For a normal buyer who is okay with minor scratches, it makes sense. I would recommend it because it saves money and still performs the way I hoped.
