I waited before reviewing the QC Ultra Earbuds because first impressions can be misleading. Sometimes a product feels great on day one and then small annoyances show up later. In this case, my opinion actually got better after using it for a while. The pair arrived in visible wear but still works well. I looked it over pretty closely because I was expecting at least some signs of use. There were not many surprises. The packaging was plain but protective enough. Setup was easy, but not completely instant. I paired them with my phone first, then my laptop, and then I spent a little time checking the Bose app settings. The first thing I noticed was that voices and podcasts sound clean. After that, I paid attention to comfort and daily convenience. Comfort matters a lot to me because I can get tired of earbuds or headphones quickly. For remote meetings, it has been excellent. For coffee shop work, it has also been reliable. I even used it during podcasts at night, which was not the main reason I bought it, and it still made sense. The sound is the kind of sound I expect from Bose: smooth, full, and not harsh. It is not trying to be the loudest or flashiest thing in the world. It is trying to be easy to live with. I especially like that Immersive Audio is fun for certain songs. I also noticed that the case and earbuds arrived very clean. The lower price definitely helped me feel good about the purchase. There are a few little negatives. For example, the right bud needed a reset once. Also, the call mic is just okay in wind. But those are small complaints compared with how often I actually wear it. Most days I use them for podcasts, phone calls, music, and a little quiet time when the house is loud. If someone expects factory-new perfection, they may want to buy new. If someone wants strong performance and can accept tiny cosmetic flaws, this is a very good buy. I would recommend it without much hesitation.
